The route and jerseys for the 2017 Abu Dhabi Tour have been unveiled ahead of its step up to UCI WorldTour level next month.
The race takes place 23-26 February and Velon will again be giving fans new insights with real-time rider performance data - power, speed, cadence and heart rate - and GoPro footage from the bikes.
The step up to WorldTour level means a truly world-class field with 20 teams of eight riders. Nairo Quintana, Vincenzo Nibali, Fabio Aru, Steven Kruiswijk, Tejay Van Garderen and Romain Bardet will have their eyes on the General Classification, while Mark Cavendish, Marcel Kittel, Elia Viviani, André Greipel and Caleb Ewan will contest the sprints.
Watch our highlights from the 2016 race:
The opening desert stage starts and finishes in Madinat Zayed with Stage 2 starting from Al Maryah Island and taking the race past landmarks like the Corniche, the Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum, Al Reem Island and Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
Stage 3 is an opportunity for the climbers and puncheurs at Jabel Hafeet (altitude 1,025m). The fourth and final stage is once again confirmed for the iconic Yas Marina Circuit.
