There will be 37 events on an unchanged men's UCI WorldTour calendar in 2018 - beginning with the Santos Tour Down Under in January and ending with the Tour of Guangxi in October.

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race - won by Team Sunweb's Nikias Arndt in 2017 - returns along with the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Tour in February, where Rui Costa triumphed this season.

The season's first one-day Classic arrives on 24 February, at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Following a packed Classics season, the final one-day race before the three-week Grand Tours is Eschborn-Frankfurt on 1 May, four days before the start of the Giro d'Italia in Jerusalem.

The Tour de France, the second Grand Tour of the season, runs from 7-29 July with the Vuelta a España on 25 August-16 September.

The fifth and final Monument of the season is Il Lombardia on 13 October before the Tour of Guangxi once again brings the curtain down on the UCI WorldTour schedule.
