Strade Bianche: 2018 course to contain 63km of gravel road

The 2018 edition of Strade Bianche will take place over 184km, including 11 sectors of gravel road totalling 63km.

The Italian one-day Classic, which was promoted to the UCI WorldTour last year, starts and finishes in Siena and will be held on Saturday, March 3.

The twisting course contains no major climbs but a barrage of small, punchy ascents, many of which are on gravel.


Team Sky’s MichaƂ Kwiatkowski won last year’s race and is set to return to defend his title.
