Velon Fantasy cycling is now live! If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a cycling expert and have always believed you could guide a squad of top talent to glory, then Velon Fantasy cycling will keep you entertained throughout the season.
Fans of all levels of cycling knowledge and experience will be able to enjoy playing, and all the major races on the 2021 calendar feature in the game.
Players can choose whichever races they want to participate in, while also taking part in a season-long competition, with brilliant exclusive prizes on offer all the way through the year. There is an overall prize for the top three finishers in the general ranking at the end of the season and the top three players in each individual race will also be rewarded. Play whenever you want - you’ll always be in with a chance of winning.
Private and public leagues between friends, colleagues and family will be available and the pro teams will also have their own official leagues which you can enter, allowing you to compete against other fans of your favourite team.
Velon’s exclusive rider power data will also play its part in the game, with pro riders’ real life power data being integrated as a bonus points-scoring feature.
Fans will be able to select a team of eight riders per race, with trades available daily in stage races. Rider specialities will also form part of the strategy around team selection, with a balance of Road Code Leaders, Sprinters, Climbers and All Rounders required in all stage races.
The game is available in English and Italian languages, is free to play and has been developed by the world’s top pro cycling teams to bring fans closer to the sport by offering them an exciting and engaging way to follow the action.
