Vuelta a España 2019: Bennett wins again on Stage 14

Sam Bennett (BORA - hansgrohe) secured his second win of the Vuelta a España 2019 on Stage 14 in Oviedo, after a big crash in the final KM decimated the field as the bunch sprinted towards the finish line.

The Irish champion was the clear winner as he notched his second victory of the Vuelta, with Maximiliano Richeze (Deceuninck - Quick Step) and Tosh Van der Sande (Lotto Soudal) following him across the line in the Asturian capital.

Primož Roglič (Team Jumbo-Visma) retained his 2'25" GC advantage over Alejandro Valverde (Movistar Team), with UAE Team Emirates sensation Tadej Pogačar still third (3'01").

Miguel Ángel López (Astana Pro Team) dropped back by 19 seconds and now sits 3'37" adrift of Roglič in fourth, whilst Nairo Quintana (Movistar Team) lost nearly two minutes and now trails the race leader by 5'21" in fifth.
